tommy 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Report Share Posted November 4, 2003 Went to g&s today and bought a deeper front spoiler for my vr....problem is its a pattern part and is so ill fitting that i am thinking of taken it back and getting a gen one from vw. Has any one else purchased one from g&s with similar problems or have I been sold a duff one! &| Link to post Share on other sites
vrPat 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Report Share Posted November 4, 2003 Mines not a genuine one but it fits ok, smallish gap in the centre and it bends in a little but I've scraped it lots of times and its not cracked as yet. vrPat 0 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Share Posted November 13, 2003 about £70they are apparently better quality I've heardtho, I've scraped mine to buggery since I got my coilovers and there's no cracks yet...My mate has a genuine one and his has the same gap as mine, however mine seems to bow outwards at the join. Guest Olly_K Posted November 25, 2003 Report Share Posted November 25, 2003 yeah mine was a poor fit from german and swedish. Apparantly they are italian and the quality sucks. Very brittle, supposedly the one from VW flex's a lot more. I've only got one side on now as a nice speed bump took the other side off. To give you an idea of brittleness, the lugs are still in the bumper ! Link to post Share on other sites
