help me identify these thieves!! Please Read.

Recommended Posts

Well i have been surrounded by suspicious criminal behaviour ever since the theft of my supercharged vr highline on may 23rd..

Two cars have come up almost like they are looking for my replacement car to steal ~:(

They must be stupid or something.. this is what they are driving..

I live in a t road caldesac, that leads to no-where. There is absolutely no reason to drive into my road unless you live here, took a wrong turning or are up 2 no-good.. Well the following cars have started patroling my road in search for cars vw/audi to steal.

The first car is a vw golf cabrio reg: W219 WAK, dark blue.. driven by a blonde accompanied by her boyfriend, who is black 6ft plus, medium, stong build. This guy looked totally suspicious and hid his face from us when he drove in (real slow), then drove all the way round and drove out. My friends S3 was parked where they stole my car. They then stopped, pretending to look at a map or something, and he thought we'ed buy it. The car later returned but my friends S was gone and drove staight off.

Today another golf this time at 3am odd has circled its a black mk4 with led rear lights.. didnt catch the no.plate..

these fukers are blatently circling for theiving purposes and the police are so ignorant they think im imagining it and that they are the only ones that can spot suspicious activity..

Guys if you know of any guys who hang with these cars around london send the alert.. report them here or to the police.. again if you look at the vr6 stolen posts you might recognise some of the parts .. Thanks.

i would have suggeted to set up a video cam through ur window with a good view of the road to see what happens through the night, then you can walk in to the police station and show them why you are suspicious - also tell them that if another car gets stolen they will be requiered to give answers as to why you wernt taken seriously!!!

sorry to hear the loss - iv been through it, just got a bullshi* letter saying 'we are sorry oyu have been a victim...bla bla' they didnt even roll the CCTV on the main road back for me when i requested!

Guys! low down sneaky car thieves are the scum of the earth, this sounds to me like it may be linked to the loss of your vr6, although without any strong evidence this would be imposible to prove, the police are always the first to be slated when anything happens, the people who did it are the real issue surely? when a car like yours gets stolen its a fair bet it will have been hidden away for a while and then either used in crime, sold for parts or exported, the police wont come and look at an empty space where your car was stolen, from but they should as part of any investigation be looking at any cctv in the area, and also seeing if like offences on cars have been happening in the area, probbably a gang as you say, they are the problem in all this, get all the reg numbers etc and give them to the police, the motors they are driving are possibly nicked or on false plates? as for the suggestion made to say a guns been pointed at you??? that wont help at all as it will only take even more police off the streets and get you fined and wont help find your car or the gang, wheels turn slowly sometimes.

Deffo video it mate. I know its a ball ache, but if you wanna get them caught I reckon you'll be in with a chance that they are loitering with intent or something like that.

Imagine if they behaved like they are outside a bank in town, the police would soon pounce on them.

If you tell the police you feel threatened by these guys that you have filmed i'm sure you'll get some response. I dont have any confidence in the police as I have had dealings with them on two occasions and have sucessfully sued them both times.

You can only do your best that is WITHIN the law. Else you will find the iron fist coming down on you before you can blink!!

Best of luck (i'll park my VR outside your house for a couple of nights to see what happens!!!) ;)

yeah what can u do.. My mate who's involved with bendeleg has just popped up from out of the blue, havnt seen him in ages.. He's a total loon and has just moved very near by.. He is on the case and Id be more scared of him than the gang no question.

As for the police, one of my friends is a Sergeant and I know they are stretched out thin.. They did come by, all i can do is keep pumping them info, as for webcam, no way, needs a proper digital hidden camera. I think im gonna fit deadlocks on my next car, they will have jump through the window.. will look shit tho !sad

The plates probably are fake, but not the one i gave u, its used to sus the area out, with the cover of the girly. Definately keep an eye out for ultimate audio in west wickham as I cannot stress how familiar this guy was and with the girl and convertable.. Especially since thats who fitted the alarm. Not saying thats who it is as I'm not 100%.

Anyway guys keep your eyes peeled and your baby properly under lock and key.

ah ha JUST2ZANG funny you should now mention the link between the theft of your car and the fitters of your alarm! this is quite common, we could have 10 thousand police in every town but if someone is a crook they will do what ever they need to, dont forget some of the dodgy people on the v dub scene, some of the traders at inters would nick your snotty tissue! trust no one! all those hangers on you see? they are the shite in society feeding off decent people, bit fed up with all the anti police stuff to be honest, try doing the job for a week and see what you think then? you cant break the law and then moan about it if its against you, no offence of loitering exist as such, going equiped to steal is probably a better bet but you still need EVIDENCE guys.

Purple, I'm sure no one means any harm with their comments on the Police. I personally have a good friend on the force and from the things I've heard, I know i wouldnt last long on the job. I think it's always been a case of good and bad in every profession, sometimes you come across an amiable officer who treats you with respect other times you don't. I know that when i was caught speeding the officer couldn't have been nastier. I was as polite and accomodating as i could be and he threw the book at me and called me all sorts. That aside, I've also come across some pretty decent chaps and girly officers. Perhaps it's because they deal with so many pr*cks that some some of them turn that way, I know if i treated my customers in the same way I would be out of a job. Sorry for the ramble, this subject is probably best kept for another forum as the issue here is the theft of just2zang's baby - Sorry mate, I can't offer much in the way of support just that we all feel for you and hope that something good comes out of all this.

hey im cool with the what you say, some coppers can be a bit OTT, police are used to getting abuse! its only from a minority who have something to hide!! peoples bad experiences with anything always get remembered, just didnt like all the generalisations, if a copper turned up with the missing car tommorow surely they would be considered top bannana? a car is stolen every minute in the uk! whats the answer? stiffer sentencing? flogging? hanging? all 3 would be nice options!

I rekon castration is the answer, that'll soon put em off!

Anyhow, im getting paranoid about my dub now cos i came out the other morning to go to work and the bonnet was up so im thinking they were either looking to see if i had a charger or something to pinch or they were gonna try and disconnect my immobiliser and away they go... fortunately i havent started modding under the bonnet yet but am well paranoid now...

I now always fit a steering wheel disk lock all the time, a pain in the arse but i figure my pride and joy will be safe!

Sorry to hear about yours just2zang, i 'kin hate car thieves, ive had one car nicked and every other car i've owned broken into barring an MG metro turbo that had a proper alarm system on it, GRRRRRR ~:(

you can only make your car, house, or whatever as secure as you can,to try and deter the thieves as best you can, and hope they go to the next one that is less well protected, unfortunately its us as buyers and consumers who get to pay for it all!! and like just2zang has mentioned sometimes?? we deal with traders who may not all be above board, and they know the ways around clever electronic alarms and know you just had 3k worth of charger or stereo fitted!!!! its happened locally to me were a buisness (no names) was robbing cars they had worked on so new what they were getting! just a thought 2zang but did they scan another key fob to your clifford? if the alarm didnt sound then thats a possiblity, but only alarm fitters can access the codes to do that, so maybe thats the answer? however it was done it reminds everyone that they need to protect the investment they have, if it means using reosonable force!!! (as much as it takes to stop them getting away or harming you) then hey a few car thieves with broken bones is fine with me!!

if the alarm fitters where near your house then that was pretty silly' date=' if you get an alarm fitted you never give them your address for the invoice that the car is kept at and you also find somone far away!!! for this very reason

[/quote']

I always use my parents address for formal stuff like that, i don't stay there any more, but it help out on insurance also as its cheaper there :)

yeah i would have travelled to reliable source, but problem is that my car never came with the alarm fob, but had an immobiliser. then one day i disconnected the battery to reset ecu, and alarm and another immobiliser kicked in.. ahhh. so i called this guy who disabbled it, f*k knows how and then i went over that day to get alarm fitted as it would be sitting on the road disabled. bugger. Was about a year ago.. did hear alrm go off a number of times by the way.. before the other golf bashed it
