Crossy 6 Posted January 8, 2014 Report Share Posted January 8, 2014 Checked my ht leads as I have a misfire around 1200/1500 rpm all leads read about 6.2kohms but autodata recons it should be between 3.6/4.4kohms also checked the plugs and denso k20txr are fitted what plugs and leads do people recommend ? mattvr6 133 Posted January 9, 2014 Report Share Posted January 9, 2014 Standard leads I had magnacor on mine had nothing but shit with them not fitting right and coming off under hard acceleration plus they don't fit in the oem holders waste of £130 I use ngk iridium plugs and standards ht's runs sweet as. They tend to stick on and not using the tool to remove they break easily. Went through several sets as I didn't remove them regularly enough and seized on, Link to post Share on other sites

Crossy 6 Posted January 14, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 Ok bit of an update changed the ht leads £25 + vat feom eurocar parts and still no difference now I dont rhing its ignition because it only seem to happen when after revving feom idle or hard acceleration so I think its thw fuel filter ? I checked the maf its ok as is the coolant temp sensor and checked for codes and none came up? They can cause misfires, flat spots and sap around 20-30bhp.Then I'd be into the MAF sensor. Link to post Share on other sites
