Uprated Head Gaskets / Head bolts ?

It looks like head gasket replacement is imminent for the VR6 Cabrio....

I was just wondering whether there is a high-performance replacement option for the headgasket and head bolts, bearing in mind that I'm planning to supercharge it in the near future...

Don't use the mrk 4 12v gasket as it's thinner and will raise the compression ratio which isn't good if your going forced induction. Your best off using an oem gasket with arp bolts. Or if your planning high boost (i.e. 11 psi +) a C2 9.0:1 head spacer.

stick with the oem gasket for a charger as you will loose out on torque if you lower the compression, it will handle 10 psi no problems. and try searching vr6 arp on the us ebay, i got mine from there, was a full set, head/main bearing, and rod bolts for £125 plus £40 postage and import duties
