spadam 7
That looks like the one yes. Do you just need a midi controller and cd capability then. As in just going to use mp3 files on your computer.

As in just going to use mp3 files on your computer. Most of my music is already installed on my mac, so I was just gonna use that. I'm guessing that you can open more than 1 file at a time otherwise you couldn't mix!!! Was also looking at the ones that use 2 cd players.Have you got experience at this then? bungy 2
Am i being thick but as you have your music on a Mac and i'm guessing it is in itunes, why not just make up playlists?

Dance club anyone????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The other problem is some of the compilation albums mix one song into another, and some of the songs I'm not fussed on, also when you make a playlist using these tracks, they cut mid beat and it's really annoying...... Dragon Dave 1
I would expect you could find some software to mix tunes together, rather than buying a piece of hardware. Of the top of my head, I'm thinking Logic Pro but if you don't already have it then it would be expensive software to buy just for this task but there must be some cheap or free DJ or audio editing software available. spadam 7
Yes you can mix 2 tracks at once. Download virtual dj home edition for now and get used to the functions etc. basicslly 2 decks with ur choice of track on each and you can play each track, mix, adjust pitch etc. Using the midi controller gives u more control over everthing rather then using a computer mouse. VR6Pete 1,455
Go to the iTunes store and look for "djay" virtual decks for your iPhone / iPad. It's cool, you can scratch and fade in tracks set cue points, sync, bpm etc... Just uses your iTunes library, oh you can get the hardware for it too
