just wondering how easy this is to fit?

anything need to be removed to get old off?

also any problems i may get?

also is it worth while power wise de-catting? i am aware i will need it 4 the MOT though

i have spoken to couple of companys and they advise me that the Ashely 6-2-1 manifold will only fit if you have a de-cat pipe, that put me off as i was looking for one myself.

I have spoken to Stealth Racing and they told me that you can still have a cat but it probably would need some welding to the manifold to get it to fir and work properly! its worth giving them a call as they can go through what exactly needs to be done.

if you fit the manifold with a de-cat pipe, you could be looking at around 25-35BHP increase. at a guess off course. its a good mod if your not bothered at taking them off for the MOT

hmmmm i have a decatt pipe and would love an extra 20 bhp it sounds alot though

so basically unless i come up with some sort of mod so i can refit the cat for the mot im going to have to refit the standard exhaust and manifold 4 the mot or find a friendly mot tester

i have a freindly mot bloke but it did scrape through emmisions anyway hehe

im always sceptical about claimed performance increase i normally half the estimate

could be worth rapping it before you fit it as it near on imposable to do on the car

25+ brake is pure fantasy, especially from an Ashley, they are dire.

If you want a proper header, look no further than the Supersprint one. Only snag is it's bloody expensive, about £600 last time I enquired. I *think* the runners are unequal length, so if you've got a VGI fitted on the inlet, you'd also get a tuned exhaust with the SS. Build quality is first class!

I would expect to see some midrange torque improvements with a tubular manifold, but nothing like 25+ bhp! 10 perhaps, at the most.
