jasonoldy69 1
I'm trying to get quotes for temporary insurance and not getting anywhere. Like Dayinsure.com for example, is telling me that they can't insure the car, possibly because of the age.Does anybody have any suggestions? Will Sky or Chris Knott, etc offer temp cover? jasonoldy69 1
Yeah been through 3 search pages and only found 1 site so far that has given me a quote. All the other sites seem to redirect you to one particular useless site. And, you either they don't recognise the car reg, don't have vr6 in the list of Golfs, or you can't pick a date of birth less than 1987 - it's really poor. You're not wrong - the one quote I got, I can adjust the days from 1 (£70) to 28 (£600). OuchMight give Sky a ring next week. I just don't want to insure it for an entire year if I'm only going to be using it 2 days a month.
The Monk 50
Adrian Flux, that I have the policy with, have told me about their temp insurance.£65 for 2 weeks.Essentially it's a 2nd car charge but they stick the 2nd car onto the existing policy.Hence why my VR will only get used for Santa Pod and the other events.I hope this may be of some use to you. jasonoldy69 1
Ah that's more like it! Wouldn't mind paying that.I could do the same thing then, stick the golf on the same insurance as my run-around.

hvr6 88
Norton do temp cover I used them one year when the VR was just doing couple of shows pretty cheap if I remember had to be over 24 though
oldmandon 1
If you have another vehicle you use daily, stick the golf down as a second car, premiums aren't that expensive. If you do 2 temporary covers per year, that would EASILY cover the cost of the SECOND CAR cover for the WHOLE year, then you could drive it WHEN you wanted...simplesssssssss
