M44 DUB 2 Posted March 4, 2010 Report Share Posted March 4, 2010 Okay just fixed my VR6 yet again - oil leek this time and since then my temp display on the dash never gets above 70 degrees. Was sitting at half way temp before i fixed the oil leek.Heaters in my motor have never been great but they are bloody crap now. When i bought the VR the guy had just done the themrostat and i've replaced everything else, head gasket, chains, temp sensor the whole lot.Was thinking water pump? any other idea's? KakalakiAkka 0 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 i have the same problem. and here hungary many of my friends have also. i've talked many mechanist and they said if the oil temp is ok, everything is ok. We don't have sensor problems, it's just a mysterious problem, and i don't think it's a big problem.Perhaps it's a bit aembrassing, but i could not do anything to disclaim that problem, but ihad tried a lot.
