Phat VR6 3
lol just drive like a nutter then. simple.my satnavs really good mate. got a little speed camera picture it the exact location on the road... so you get warning flash up that theres a camera on the road.. then look at the screan and you can see how far away it is .. never let me down tbf.don't worry about it though.. its something like 10% of them that's got film in them. ive been flashed about 3 times but never got anything
The Monk 50
I got flashed by one in a 50 zone when I was nursing it home at about 25 at 2am...no other traffic.
shail 0
I use something called Trapster on my mobile. The camera locations are inputted by users of the program. Its ok for a free bit of software. My phone has built in GPS, so it works well. Think its also available for iPhone
Ian_rogers 0
don't worry about it though.. its something like 10% of them that's got film in them. ive been flashed about 3 times but never got anything this would depend what camera it was, if it was a short fat one there's a chance you'll strike lucky, but if it's the tall thin ones, they are digital and the information gets sent straight to the police, they don't use film!Good luck with it tho mate

Miss-Vw 2
My dad uses something called a Road Angel which warns you of speed cameras. After losing his license for 6 months because of speeding points, he never goes on any long journeys without it.
rodney 17
yup i have a road angel. there are a few other brands out there. but basicically you need to ensure you have the contract and download all the time or you get the sort that is connected to the greatwide world all the time and always updates...the extra laser detector is a plus so that copper hiding behind the bus shed can be picked up as he wont be registered on your daily back up/download.the other thing is they must have good access so you either find one where you can hide the power cable or select one with just a battery... obvious limitations there especially if it not user replaceable..Otherwise I try not to leave home with out it.. J5KE F 0
I have had a road Angel, and now have a tom tom with speed warning and camera alarm function, The Tom tom is best IMO, purely because it not only does speed cameras but navigation and hands free!As above really, they are all only as good as the latest updates, and as I tend to have mine on silent, I have to pay attention all the time! Best thing is to stick to limits and let all ur tension go on the tracks! Its easier said than done I know, and it always seems to be the momentary lack in concentration that bites ur ass! bonesvr6 0
ive got a Snooper, got it as a xmas present of an ex missus, handy bit of kit to have.and its got the laser gun thingy on it which is pretty good, especially when i had my calibra and i was traveling back from norwich every weekend down the a47, which is one of them roads you just cant wait to get off, so when you come around a corner at.........the legal speed limit +10%..........and a bit more......you get warned theres a muppet pointing his posh hairdrier towards you and gives you time to slow down before he actually starts noting your speed! saved me a few times
