CALICO 130
S2 are 5 cylinders and not 500bhp standard

CALICO 130
Low boost early no intercooler proper sleeper init
MaidenVR6 26
S2/RS2 have 2.2 litre engines.A VR6 have atleast 2.8 litre and 1 cylinder more. So you need a little bigger turbo than a stock 2.2T 5in engine.
vr69 0
garrett gt32 turbo?????this is the info i have found, would it be sutable????This is largest Garrett GT32 available, The GT3271.This turbo is capable of 400+ HP. Brand new Garrett GT32 (GT3271) turbo assembly. Available in either Internal or External wastegate configurations, your choice. The internal wastegated unit comes with a adjustable actuator, hose, boost reference fitting, etc. Both wastegate configurations have a T3 divided inlet turbine housing with a 6_bolt exit.Aslo available is the .69 A/R Intenal wastegate exhaust housing. ($110.00 extra, please email if you want this housing)Specify Internal or External wastegate.-Compressor: 71.0mm w/ 52 trim-Turbine: 73 Trim, .78 A/R (T3 divided inlet w/ 6_bolt exit)Note:: ALL of our Garrett GT turbochargers come Fully Balanced from the factory & have the Manufacturers Warranty. The Garrett GT series line up is much more efficient then the old "T" technology & provides spool-up 1000's of RPMs quicker. The GT series turbos are stronger, more reliable, have less shaft movement, better flow dynamics, less lag....the list goes on. Simply put, GT blows T away!!
UnitedMotorsport 55
The kind of turbo you need is a T3/T4 based one.Depending on how you like the turbo to spool, either a 0.63 or 0.82 AR turbine housing.Or if you want to spend a little more use a GT35R. J5KE F 0
as C2 said.. we have a t3/t4 unit and pushin approx 290 @ 13 psi, but could easily be doubled if engine hardware was to be upgraded.thats on a 140k stock lump but spaced gasket..
matty.vrt 120
gt3582r is where its at if its good enough for kevhaywire its good enough for any one.lol
FishWick 21
Yeah the 35R is a nice unit :-). It has a very good top end / midrange compromise imo.
MaidenVR6 26
But the Garrett GT35R needs to be a old turbo? Its been around for years. I think its turbo's in the same range, that kicks the Garretts ass pretty good. Like the new Precision billett series. I would go for one off them, if I needed a new one now. FishWick 21
Why does that matter? The T3/T04E has been around even longer and is still popular and works well.Got any dyno plots showing a precision the same size and trim as a GT35 kicking it's ass?
MaidenVR6 26
USP's 12V S4 did very well with it. And they love it. Mickael aka VR6GT42RS told me the same. That the Precision is much more effective and 30% lighter turbin wheel.Im not saying that GT35R isnt any good. I have one my self, and love it.And a T3/T4 standard journal bearing turbo's is another price range than both GT35R and billett Precision.
FishWick 21
Cool. Do you mean the Precision 6265? Looks a nice turbo. Do they use Garrett CHRAs and make their own compressor wheel and housings then?
MaidenVR6 26
As far as I have seen, its basiclly a Garrett GT35R, but with better/lighter compressor wheel. Im not sure if the housing is diffrent.Mickael said it was the ultimate VR6 and R32 turbo. That said, the 35R with either 0.82 or 1.06 is very good. I love when I start my car, and let it idle and when I stop it 10 seconds after I can hear the turbo spin for a good while:) I didnt hear that on my old T04S. Wich did 554 crank hp on a Vauxhall Calibra after I sold it:) And lasted for two weeks, hahahaha...
golfrabbit33 0
Yeah the 35R is a nice unit :-). It has a very good top end / midrange compromise imo. glad thats the one i just upgraded to then / 1.06 housing
