Before it had this open air filter which although sounded great, got really hot and also was a tad dirty and had picked up oil. So i couldnt quite justify paying the extra 60 quid for the CDA as even on the site it states it has no difference plus the DIA has some red on it which is always a plus. So after a bit of wigglign got it fitted with the extra pipe on the front which now sucks nice cold air from behind the bumper. The cover is off as im having it engraved with a VR6 logo. Also had 2 of my mats done but still have front 2 to do and some more finishing touches by end of week. Link to post Share on other sites

AJmk2 2 Posted May 15, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 Finally got around to cleaning the car up after getting it running again. Managed to get cam out by one tooth but luckily seems like I got away with it and no damage, so now running N/A with head gasket spacer in.Also gave inlet manifold and engine cover a spray up. Still a lot of work to do to get the engine bay tidy but waiting until boost.Here some pictures : Just need to swap my wheels now as these take too much to keep clean.
