binliner 0
When you fit a breather filter (like the 1 in phat28vr6's gallery) what do you do with the electrical connector fitted to one of the pipes you remove and what does it do?

phat28vr6 0
I take it you mean the engine breather pipe? Blank off the airway in the intake pipe and fit a small oil breather filter....you do not touch the EGR!! The electrical connector you mean isn't connected to anything if you look!!Probably US spec only??[ Edited Wed Oct 22 2003, 01:28AM ]
Phil 0
Aye, Pat.You can disconnect the EGR to the throttle body, which is supposed to be a good mod. Still thinking though.....

binliner 0
cheers rick phat28vr6 explained it to me last nite...If I understood right I need to remove the breather pipe and plug the hole it leaves in the air intake then leave the right arrowed pipe in place but block it where it used to join the breather pipe (where u can see the silver clip)not forgetting to fit the breather filter!
