SankysVR6 1
I'm having my 15" Solitudes powder coated, because i found some where cheapish. But i can't decide what colour to have them done. They can't match close enough to the OEM finish, so I want to try another colour altogether.Don't want to have them done Black, Anthracite, White etc, and don't want any thing daft like Pink, Blue etc.So what colour do you think i should have done, they are only winter wheels but i still want them to be out of the norm and bit of fun. Ben Seabrook 4
Firstly I was told on another forum DO NOT powder coat your wheels !!! paint them by all means but dont powder coat them , there's a very boring and technical discription of why ,but its basically to do with surface tention and stresses within the metal however never heard that before !! so I would do them something outrageous like dark red / burgundy colour think that would look lovely against a black car
matty.vrt 120
AINT standard wheels were powdercoated so that must load of bull.

xyber 1
You can powdercoat them, they need to be plated with zinc first though to overcome cracking or a chip spreading(or It could be they add zinc to the mixture, i know zinc is involved though )
