I have no idea what is holding it together, the bonnet hit his windscreen a couple of months back when he was doing 70(with the wind behind him) on the motorway. The motor is a 2366cc VW 'Type4' Flat4 Aircooled motor... started life as a basic 2 litre camper engine from an 80's t25... and we have just played with it... now has 100BHP & 113Ft/Lbs Torque at the Wheels. 0-60 in 9 seconds but its not fast/quick enough for me.... I love mine because its a vr6 turbo engine in a gti shell, and the gti badge is still on the back, ultimate sleeper lol!Well back to the topic, i did have a 100cc ped aswel which was great for going to work on as 5 quid lasted about 150-200 miles!!
