PaulMonan 0
I've got a 97 Golf VR6, just came back from a service and theres heavy corrosion on the exhaust, highly recommended I have it replaced.I'm going to buy a full stainless steel one, what's the best way to go about this?Order online or just get quotes from local exhaust centers? What would be a good price all in?Thanks in advance.

PaulMonan 0
Ok I've been looking on Venom, and in hearing that Jetex are good, Ive seen one at £242, there are 4 on there for a mk3 golf. Any idea how much it would cost for me to get it fitted?
Damo 85 0
mine cost 30 quid at an exhaust place to be fitted, its 40 mins work for 'em if that Jetex are wicked for the money, really subtle sound, good fitment etc
PaulMonan 0
The Jatex came to £257 including delivery so If I get it fitted for under £300 I'll be happy. Can't wait, my exhaust is hanging off so a stainless steel one with improve the car dramatically (hopefully). I just had it serviced and theres a few things needing done, including the font discs but that can wait, theres a cut in one of the front tyres which is a real pain in the arse! Damo 85 0
thats pretty cheap to be honest mate! i'd grab it. min came to 300 quid inc delivery, so 330 fitted. really happy with it though.
Jonnyboy82 0
While we are on this subject doea anyone know if a 8v or 16v gti exhaust will fit the vr6?Also how do you rate powerflow exhausts?
Timah89 1
Yes - we fitted Miltek from our old 8v Mk3 to VR6. Much better system than Jetex on our Mk2 16v
rodney 17
Powerflow is all down to the fitter. It is a franchised solution. If they're pants then....you will see a lot of people are not fans. that said some people have had a great experience...
