i prefer silver bolts in general but they work okay on your car. Are you going to be running you rs's over winter?

yea im not keen on teh steering wheel, im not keen n wood hence hy i removed myhighline knob....

is that a carbon fibre bonet? not my cuppa either but fair play!

love the wheels tho, if your ever selling them il be rippin your hands off ...

I think the wooden effect is ok, Different should i say..

Doubt very much i would sell the rims, unless i sell the VR..But for now, wanna sell my Mark 1 then purchase a Charger or a Motorbike...

They were painted previous and then re-dun..

5x100 BUT re-drilled..I know alot of peeps think re-drilled are not safe, But so far, touch wood havent had a problem..

Besides all the nu rims on the Market are Multifit!!!

BBS are coming off soon, before the COLD starts...and the salt crap on the road..

Yes, My mats are from Uncle Dave!!!-Just Matz, coz we know him!!

The car use to belong to my mate at VW..I know Dave through him.. So its all khushdy!!

Steering wheel below from the Mk3.5!!

looks good was it easy to fit ?

do u need to drill / file or cut anything

or is straight swap

any help or advice thanks in advance pete

The steering wheel is BRAND NEW, some chappy is selling it on the bay..I paid £75.. Retails @ £350+

AirBag 2nd hand, Paid £50, Retails £450+...Piss easy job to do. Make sure key not inn ignition.. Thats it!![/b']

bargain mate

so straight fit no messing about

just make sure the keys not in ignition

and take the battery lead off first

2 bolts at the back of wheel and then take air bag off

then main nut on the steering wheel

and pull off and re - fit new type

do u need to re set the air bag light etc........

No need to disconnect battery or reset Airbag light!! Just straight forward' date=' just dont have ignition onn...!! ;) [/b']

You didnt disconnect the battery......are you f******* nuts that could of gone off???? always take the battery off while the ignition is on so all power gets taken out the system' date=' even out the ecu and leave for bout 1/2 hour!

mj didnt change it i did and you dont need to disconnect the battery just switch the ignition off as there is no power going to the air bag

since when you become an expert on changin steering and doin air bags you also forgot to say you may need to take off the indicator plastics to plug/unplug the airbag connector
