binliner 0
actually I hate to say this but I dont remember mine having that big hose connector that you can see in the second pic and on the left in the last pic
binliner 0
but as long as it fits you can block that though
VR6Rich 3
:-(Came off a '97 Vento though apparently...
six appeal 53
That large hose connector doesn't look too familiar to me either to be honest, will take a look at mine in the box in the garage in the morning if I get a chance mate.
VR6Rich 3
Just had a quick look at my car (in the dark with a torch!) and I cant see that hose connector either. :-(Part number would be good Simon if you can.Arse! :-(

acf8181 0
my obd1 manifold deffo has that hose going in...but i haven't studied an obd2 manifold to see if they have it as well.one thing though, the bore where the TB joins is different diameter on obd2 if i remember correvtly...so if it is the wrong one theres no way to botch it on. binliner 0
dont obd1 have an extra hose recirculating into the 3" black intake pipe at the back... is that where that goes to?can you check on etka which throttle body a 97 vento had? fingers crossed rich
VR6Rich 3
The problem with ETKA is that no matter what model and year you choose, it always gives you the same diagram, so I dont trust it exactly.
VR6Pete 1,455
i think u'll find that the Throttle Body are different sizes from ODB1 to
acf8181 0
ok, just looked on etka...there are quite a few different TB's for each obd.but there's only two manifolds, obd1 is 021 133 202F, and obd2 is 021 133 202K...vento's and golfs are the same.
binliner 0
looks like you're ok then Rich!
acf8181 0
i'm not so sure...i still think thats an obd1 manifold.
six appeal 53
Mine has the part number 021 133 223AC on the back of it and doesn't have that large water pipe on it, casting is blanked there. It also has the date 10/97 on it as well.My car is a late R reg Highline OBD2. Hope that helps Rich.
