bazz780 0 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 hi, can anyone recommend any short (in length) gearsticks that will fit the VR or how to go about this?im sure you get plenty but some do not fit or look right, i have installed a tv in the centre console of the dash but need to change the gearstick to a short one so it can be seen better.thank you, Link to post Share on other sites

acf8181 0 Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 is the polo one shorter?no. why would you want to shorten the gearstick..its too far from the wheel as it is. any time gained by shifting a tad quicker will be lost getting to the stick in the frost place, plus you'll spend a fraction less time holding the wheel. and finally, you can beat the syncormesh as it is, will only get worse when shortened.
