Nerih 0
Ill PM you after i've sorted out today business. On todays agenda is new exhaust, new splitters, getting dings sorted.I'll either be selling my xenon HID retrofit (as per the link at the top) or when i can be arsed i'll stick em in the hella's and see if they look any good (in that case i'll be selling naught ).time will tell.I ordered my headlamps from the USA. If you do decide to order them (dont all rush, becuase i got em becuase i knew no one had em over here). They are about 290 quid over there which ISNT BAD. Just make sure you get the RHD version or you'll be in crap.I think someone should probably find a UK supplier of these at some point .I guess you lot could do a group buy of these. They are VERY VERY VERY nice headlamps and are much better than anything thats out on the market right now (in terms of light efficiency -- not compared with true xenons of course). The idea is to get these, get the xenon conversion kit and then drive with super duper bright and very attractive lights.[ Edited Fri Oct 01 2004, 08:05AM ]
tandino 1
As far as im aware Zenon lights arent legal unless you have automatic headlamp leveling due to the fact the are a hazard to other roads users if they are aimed/adjusted correctly.....I dont think Hella will ever produce a 'true' Zenon kit for a MK3 because of this??............Pete. Nerih 0
hella do do some bm lights with auto beam level adjustment (if thats what you're talking about). I didnt realize that my HID's need auto levelling, is this what my ballast unit does?
Eat this 2
no i think ballast is somethin to do with the voltage car battery is 12v the lights are somethin like 23kv BIIIG difference no idea how it works though hehe

VR6Rich 3
I think GSF are selling the Hella Celis lights for about £220. Did see them on the website but cant find them now. :-?
PEDROX 0
you can get the beam control from this site http://www.tmtuning.com/ but I dont think they will work on the hella celis for some reason. First, the headlights feature a DE dipped beam projector high beam with true Hella ellipsoid light projection (the light is more clear and more focused) Hella revolutionized projector beam headlights and nothing else compares. The next feature is the FF or "Free Form" wide pattern high beam, another Hella innovation that makes the light spread wider and more viewable to the human eye there is hardly any scatter or loss of unusable light.speak to Damion at TM he will tell you it wont work as I looked into this myself a while ago,
