aimee 0 Posted February 3, 2008 Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 Well, i finally bit the bullet and went a bought a new car!Been thinking about changing from the 16v for a while as ive had it over 2 1/2 years, and a switch finally flipped in my head telling me to go for it!So, heres what I've bought:1997 R reg Storm Grey VR6On the day of purchase it had 68,200 miles on the clock Full Black Leather interior with heated front seats Hardly any rust at all :thumbsup: Its got a couple of mods, some 17" Audi A8 rep wheels and lowered 35mm, and has some FK rear lights.and some pics:and fitted the aero wipers i originally bought for the 16v but never got round to fitting! And i found it on the classifieds on here too! Got a few plans:First is to swap the dtm backbox for a new one i picked up yesterday with a single stainless pipe, bit more to my taste!Gotta get it booked in for some Weitec Coilovers soon.Need the rear arches rolling as my set of Porsche Silver Roses will be making the move, but planning on getting them properly polished with a bit of colour coding before putting them on.Gotta take the in-pro r32 style headlights off the 16v to put on here too.And I'll Probably think of a few more things too!Oh, and i need to purchase a BIG ramair for it! I have been told its the front right sensor. The abs light comes on then off, but its now on more than off.I have been as honest as I can And any one who is interested at the price or offers around £2800so is the ABS playing up and did u bid him down on the price £2800 looks tidy 67000 miles very low any vw service historykeep us all updated with your car and get the inpros fitted keep us posted on your updates and post pics quite rare storm grey Link to post Share on other sites

saichy 1 Posted February 8, 2008 Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 hey again, bout time you put some pics up lol.this car looks even better in the flesh (so to speak) liking all the plans you have got.the reps arnt thats bad ive got them at the mo but looking for some bbs rs wheels going to be good to see your car nice and polished at the shows this year hope the back box is ok for you when you get it fitted but i liked the dtm one tbh.
