kalv 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Share Posted October 25, 2007 Time is near for the VR.. had it a few years.. pumped a fair bit of cash into it.. loved the VW scene.. but expanding family and demanding wife it has to go.. Still sticking with the german theme.. went for a BMW 330d Tourer Sport. 184bhp and 390lbs torque. Never had a BMW before or a diesel and I am pleasently surprised.[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1193321186_4477_FT0_251020071175.jpg][/lightbox]Got it at a good price... 105K... one owner from new.. FBMWSH.. loads of extra's.. will be hanging onto this for a while!As for the VR.. being serviced and health-checked then will be ready for the new owner.. I'm guna miss that roar.... kalv 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2007 I've enquired about the chip... £299 and gives 220bhp and 470 lbs torque and more fuel economy as the power comes lower down in the revs... tempting... surprisingly.. insurance was only an extra £100 ontop of what i've already paid for the VR6...
