Recommended Posts

YOU;LL FIND YOU HAD MORE WHEEL SPIN AT THE START ON YOUR RUNS WITH SLOWER TIMES AND HIGHER SET SPEEDS LOWER SPEED FASTER TIME MEAN LESS SPIN AND MORE GO SO DONT FRIET JUST KEEP TRYING BUT 14.9 IS GOOD JUST REMBER A STANDART ESCORT COSSIE ONLY DOES 14.8 STANDARD

it was nice to meet some of you guys yesterday :)

I was the guy in the fire up road scribbling on your cars

As for glueing the track of the jet car

So it doesnt take off

Seriously the jet car still needs a sticky surface to hold it in a straight line and the down force can cause it to slide all over the place

Good chatting to ya Danny.........standing there all day just about and chatting, what a life.

I have bee thinking about some 16" tyres just for stripping....need 16s as have 312s and 15s wont fit

i let mine down to about 30. i didnt want to go to low as i thought the rims might spin inside the tyre. next time i will try 20 psi see if that helps

ive witnesed as low as 15psi on stock rims with proxes . no tyre to rim spinning going on there.

im assuming your going to mark em up so you can see if they start spinning?

Can the factor of tyre pressure really make significant differences...?

Everyone's times seemed to be alot quicker than mine..? I left mine standard... all I did was empty the boot...?

I never even did that, left sub, cleaning stuff and a full tank in mine. Tho' Kerry reckons thats just my excuse for being crap!!!!!

santa is bang on for times but if the track has not been preped and your not running slicks its dame hard to get traction. inters is great for top end hense why they call it the proving ground you will get a higher top speed ' date=' if your run street tyre you will find north weald great there time is dame good and it is a rough floor so traction is good hope that is some help

did any of you guys / gals notice that you had a faster top speed on slower runs than you did on faster runs? i did a 15.27 @ 94.53 mph (my fastest speed) and my best run was 14.95 @ 93.34

the reason for this being is that on the slower pass you have more time to build up speed :)

i hope that makes sense :)
