Zonda_ 0
My old VR6 which is now my brothers is using petrol or LPG at the rate of about £50 to go 60 miles! Having sat in the car and listened to the engine it is clearly misfiring. 2 garages have told him the mixtures on petrol and gas are way out when they've analysed them, we'll Duh! if it's misfiring of course they are! It's doing a neat party trick of spitting neat fuel straight out the exhaust (even more impressive if it would ignite on exit!) Obvious things to check are leads/plugs and coilpack, what else could be causing it and are there any quick ways to track down which cylinders are not firing as VAG Com shown nothing? ventovr6essex1 0
to see what cylinders are not firing pull 1 lead off at a time you should notice the engine note change and the engine rpm drop . if it does not thats the cylinder not firing . then get a old plug see if ya have a spark
