After crack the front screen in my VR a few days ago it is now working its way fast across the lenght of the window.

What I want to know is:

It is tinted to some degree but are there different colours all my windows seem to be a very light smoke tint (no aftermarket job)

and did they ever do any VR with a top tint to save being blinded when the sun pops up in between the two visors and the interior mirror?

I was in the same boat as you mate when my front screen cracked...

All my windows have "tinted glass" printed on them, as well as the front. I also have a top tint too.

I just phoned up my insurence who put me though to the RAC auto windowscreen and they replaced it for a like for like window - only cost me £50 too!

Cheers,

Pete

same here mate. I had a new windscreen fitted on Friday afternoon. When I rang the insurance company they got RAC windows to call me back and they asked me on the phone if it was a tinted window or if it had top tint. It cost me £60 through my insurers
