VR6Pete 1,455
That box was rebuilt in November.... it shouldn't have done that TBH... I've not been able to drive my car hard since the rebuild because the roads around stoke have trashed my rack, and that was when the box was fitted... Bloody Pot holes and speed bumps!Pete

purple highline monster 0
Have you ever thought of getting a 2nd car pete? my VR is loving its semi retirement now i have the mk1 cabriolet aswell, i bet the VR cringes everytime i get it out the garage though! as it gets proper ragged!! its an animal compared to a 1.8 Gti cabriolet! took VR out for a spin today and got my back box changed...boy was it fun! absolutely rinsed everyrthing in my path! purple highline monster 0
with all your mechanical gremlins lately mate it will be worth it in the long run, to save £ on parts alone! it makes the VR more special when you do drive it too, i love the little cabriolet, its "pritty" and a fun car but nothing compared to the vr`s comfort, power or handling or the NOISE!! thegoth 5
I've always reckoned that NOT using the VR6 for 10K miles a year saves me enough in petrol alone to cover the tax and insurance on the 16ver.Perhaps I should use the 16ver for all 15K and ditch the VR6 altogether.Perhaps not ;-)TG
