matth76 1
Here's what happened to me on the A27 near Brighton:I was driving down the dual carriageway about 60mph in the fast lane, traffic was fairly heavy. This guy in a black Seat Altea decided to undertake a few cars and then 'squeeze' into the gap inbetween me and the car in front...except he misjudged it and almost ran me off the road side swiping me. I almost hit the central reservation. I had to brake so hard I thought I was going to spin out. I was furious. I was so close to being killed (no exageration). Then there was space down the inside and I know I shouldn't have but I undertook him, and then proceeded to drive in front of him a bit slower at about 50ish but still faster than the inside lane as traffic was quite heavy. This carried on for a good few miles. He tailgated about two inches literally behind me ..I never once put my brakes on as that would be dangerous... And then he nudges me from behind. Well I am now livid ..I mean very livid!! and start to stop my car in the fast lane, but continue driving on. He wants me to stop and is looking quite angry now (the bloody cheek..what has he got to be angry about!)... well he bumped me not the other way round, and almost took me off the road earlier. I wanted to stop and kick the sh*t out of him, but on the side of a busy dual carriage way I would be in court for assault with lots of witnesses (I've done kickboxing for 12 years but I do like to think before jumping into any situation).. or worse I could be beaten up myself or knifed. I decide to continue driving home and check the damage later but he is still on my tail following me making faces still pissed off. I ignore him and proceed to drive normally ... now my home is miles away from where I work with lots of country driving but he continues to follow me. I continue to ignore his faces in my mirror. Then when I get to a clear dual carriageway I boot it (he tries to keep up but its a pitiful effort) and he is gone in a couple of seconds literally. I get home no damage to my rear bumper at all...otherwise I would have called the police. However I am still very pissed off. I still can't believe it and what a nutter he was. Part of me thinks it worked out for the best, no damage to my car, and no one was hurt. His number plate is GY55 YZP. Pity I can't find out his address from this or get revenge.Anyone else had similar incidents?
dellert 0
Shame there was not a rabbit or something in the road! So long as they come from behind its their insurance! Or called police saying you scared and driven to them taking him in tow and waited for them to arrest him when he landed you one!
matth76 1
I was going to do that (there's a big police station I could have stopped at in Worthing) but I lost him first on the dual carriageway.
goonersteve 0
Why don't you report him anyway mate. He's only gonna do it to someone else, which could be a woman or young person who may not deal with it as well as you did. He's probably also done it before and i bet there are victims who only WISH they had his reg number. Think about it.Well done, by the way. Partly for keeping your cool, but more importantly for flooring it and losing the f*cker! (h) :-d
purple highline monster 0
You done the right thing mate, the guy sounds like a knob!, i got road raged by a wrinkly old twat in a rover the other day!! claimed he had priority at a traffic calming, he didnt!! he was very aggitated but calmed down when i told him he was a dick head in the calmest voice you can imagine! and that he at no point ever will have right of way, whilst being the driver of a rover!! he was just a knob road captain, but there are some people who take things too far! always best to just drive off and ignore them really. matth76 1
Cheers for all the replies. Makes me feel better. I know I kept calm and cool but I was fuming inside and even worse when I got home...just wanted to kick the **** out of him..kept feeling bad that I didn't but then again it could have been much worse if I had done. Anyway ...(out of curiosity) just had a look at the dvla website and unfortunately I can't do anything without the v5 registration number. However it does pull up the vehicle details correctly based on just the number plate. Anyone know of any car insurance websites that work out your address based on the car number plate you have just entered?

Riggsvr6-again 0
You say you have tried your best to avoid my threads, but yet it was YOU again! that invadaed my post about the copper that got let off ! I take it as it's you with the problem ! I dont have a problem or base my judgement upon the work you do, I do find you Anal obnoxious and a creep! Also a sly sad man that starts to invade my threads then runs to the Mod's everytime i reply! So how you have the cheek to say this is getting tedious i dont know? As for "no attempt to know the man first" Why would i want to get to know a person like you!? "if you cant handle it step down from the stage!" WTF!? Im here son ready and waiting !I now presume your going to go squeeling to the MOD's again as you usually do "saying im starting trouble with you " But seeing as your such a intelligent man, READ the posts first and you will see that it is you that wont leave me alone!
