Cardiff,,s.wales, and you think you got it bad

just wondering has anyone bought one of the exhaust manifolds that sell on ebay, the £150 odd ones,,,do they give any power gains?are they worth getting or is it just best to have a decent downpipe (as I've got),,I've heard that the standard twin type manifold flows not bad for mass production,so don't want to get one just for the sake, though they look pretty trick(for the price!).any thoughts

maybe have a word with a engine builder who has worked on these before,or the person who will skim/bore the head/block..as u say you need to get this right or problems will ensue....i guess it will depend on what parts/mods you do/use so get some advice from a engine builder I would say,,they will be happy to help,

could be thrust bearing on its way out,but That's usually when you depress pedal...when was clutch last changed??.any metal particles in oil when u changed it??..does it sound bad when engine running or when moving??

Hi,I'm up for one of these if still available..cheers
-
phew, glad u got that sorted after all ya done to it!!whoa

took it out and was a bit shitty with some hardened gunk stuck to it...cleaned it all of and replaced the rubber O ring, all seems good but its probably breaking down electrically when hot so replacement is the only answer I guess...see if it happens again and if so new one will go on....

hmmm,if you got a good feeling clutch pedal then it should've bled ok.. Does the pedal have bushes/washers in the pivot???where it goes onto box??I know rs turbos had em and could be a right pain, but they usually collapsed!!
