    I seen the look of glee on your face mate as these beasty VR's hit the rollers and stamped on the gas. lol.

    Surely its time to part with some cash and buy yourself a beast.

    You will have the summer months then to get all the bits sorted and look for some insurance.

     

    Its time to buy. :P  

     

    I'm looking, I'm really careful with my money and extremely picky. It's a waiting game at the moment, the right one will pop up soon hopefully.

    Not to sure if this sort of meet/event is up your street but it'll be massive.

     

    For the curious, Beds Modified is any sort of modified car in the Bedfordshire area and it's their 7th year going this March. Judging from their previous 'big' event's this should massive. Supposedly 800+ people will be attending including myself.

    No mate chrome halfords special ones aren't better!! Lol! It's little bits like that, that if still there and intact will make the car be more original and worth more in years to come.

     

    When/if I get a VR6, I won't be building it to be worth more in the in the future, I'd build it the way I want it to look. Though I will never buy cosmetic car parts from halfords.

    Oo, I saw this one, but I want a 3 door model, as I am also looking to buy one.

     

    Only thing to note would be the door trim is missing on the drivers side.

     

    EDIT: Also I've seen Golf VR6 5 door in better condition go for for a few hundred quid lower.

    I'd fancy bringing my vento Vr6 over to this, is it best to get on the reserve list as I'd need to call in with ebola for the day off work!

    I'd probably charge around £150-£175 to cut that out weld a small plate in a smooth it off and repaint it,only problem is you may have to lose the door sill protecter and they are rare as rocking horse $h/t! I know because I've been trying to buy one for months!!!!

     

    Thanks for the info. I assume the door sill protector is the black plastic bit?

    I've come across a VR6 I like and want to offer on it. Only issue is, they showed me this image.

    Does anyone know if I would be able to fix this myself (must be fairly easy, if too complicated then I probably wouldn't.) Or how much it would cost to fix?

     

    I heard this could fail an MOT but, apparently it had it's MOT in the past few weeks.
