Just read trough your write up . Cracking posts fella . Best of luck trying to get low 14,s it's amazing how much power you need to et in them low numbers . I know a lad with a 700 plus bhp Corsa and his best is 10.2 I think he's trying like hell to get into the sub 10s good to see a 4 door polo alive and kicking though -

Right peeps , spoke to david the guy dealing with the track now , he's emailing over dates for May and June it's 650 for a weekday 750 a weekend so if we can get say 12 cars on a sat with fish n chips and a drink your looking at about 67 quid yes it will be cheaper with 15 around 55 quid , so come on folks , cheap day of fun , with dinner chucked in !! For less than a tank of fuel -

Little taster for People there is quite a good few track combinations that can be had as there is a big loop with now a figure of 8 in the middle ? If That makes sense https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dTuqXPSRa60 -
As per title really . Would any members be interested in a club only sprint day ,been speaking to Carl about this , we thought see what Intrest is out there . The venue would be curborough sprint track near Lichfield . It's a small track with a new lay out , speeds are minimal . Probably be lucky to see 95 on the straight . But it's a right good laugh , if enough Intrest don't mind sorting it with the club secretary , you can run up to 15. Cars , it's one car on track at a time , very good for novices , or anyone that's a bit weary about going on track with other cars . Cost would be around

I'm still up for this . Will pop down have a gab and a beer .

Good write up that mate , what is the approx. dry weight once all back together , and you won't go far wrong with them ds 3000 I think there cracking pads for the money. , should be a right blast out of corners with good low down torque . Fair play fella -
Difference in coil overs
Gwr corrado replied to Gwr corrado's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
Bc ain't the best though mate there ok but not brilliant , I had a cracking set of cusco on my type r version 6 , they were amazing , , and it's not the drop I'm looking for , but more of a decent geometry set up , with running the 8.5 width rear wheel I will be wanting it set up right so I don't shag the rear arches , hence why the shim plates to just tuck the top of the wheel in slightly -
Difference in coil overs
Gwr corrado replied to Gwr corrado's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
Cheers for the heads up lads , I'm after a set that are fully adjustable , with a decent ride quality , the wife uses the car to drive locally , and will be attending a good few meets this year , so reccomendations are all helpful , it rides harsh enough so a set with rebound dampening would be good -
?? Might sound a daft question , yes they say you get what you pay for , but coming from a jap back ground , I'm amazed at the price difference in coilovers , in say the Scoob world you have your run of the mill Bc coilovers about 600 quid up to say full on board cusco set up about 2 grand , I'm looking at coil overs for the wenches raddo not after anything great as she drives like miss daisy , just needing them for the car set up as running a lot of camber with hub centric spacers shim plates etc , are the 600 plus sets justifiable ?? Or will a 200 quid set do me ? Thoughts please folks !!!
