  1. Down pipe looks great, what sort of set up did you use for purging? As I have started to do mine but it was oxidising slightly when I welded the v band to the first 90, doesn't look to great but its welded! As for the lambda bosses if you look on the diy turbo guide on here there is a picture of kevs vr6 down pipe with the bosses just before a flex bellow which would be just before the v band at the end of your down pipe his seemed to run well so I'm planning on copying him!

  8. well the parts turned up from bar-tek about a day or two after my last post so shouldnt have been worrying they consisted of a peloquin lsd, turbo manifold,470cc incectors, sachs sinter clutch kit,and a oil cooler kit and some arp head studs so after that arrived i had intended to get a couple of days on the car in a row over christmas so i could replace the chains and tensioners and install the arp studs and whack the spacer plate and gasket on whilst it was fresh in my head how it all came apart but this wasnt to be as the head was a bit crusty around the water ports so thought it be best to
  9. Thanks for the info guys, just to be certain is the copper spray applied to all faces of the gasket and spacer plate including the the faces that meet up with the block and head? Also where do you guys get the copper spray from?
