  1. Lots of 'can' in those statements. If you're pre-igniting on stock hardware, you're doing something VERY wrong. If you want to waste money, then go right ahead. I recommend using 4 coils per cylinder and cleaning your plugs after every drive, wouldn't want to see carbon in an engine!
  2. Wrong, if it's strong enough spark to ignite the mixture, that's all it needs to do. It either ignites or it doesn't, there is nothing in-between. You will see no appreciable gains from a stronger spark
  3. Why do you need to increase spark? I've run 20psi of boost on stock coils with no problem
  4. Using a Sachs 4 puck sintered clutch with their heavy duty pressure plate, works great!
  5. Got a v6 4motion golf for sale gt3582r at 15-18psi, all the bells and whistles. £5k, strip the performance parts off it or swap the engine if you want to keep the bora. Cheaper/faster than new parts, less than a year on the parts
  6. If you connect to the car using VCDS and scan the engine, it will give you the name of any custom tune that's on it.
  7. On my GT35R, I used a banjo bolt on the oil filter housing and another banjo going into the top of the turbo with no restrictor. But I expect that running though the multiple orifices in the two banjo bolts has reduced the pressure a bit. Best bet would be to phone Owen Developments, telling them that the VR6 can have 100psi oil pressure when cold.
  8. Post this up on the VR6 turbo and s/c Facebook page, they will let you know
  9. Now for auction on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222225993807?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  10. Thanks, phoned up TPS with the part numbers
  11. Hi guys, my turbo V6 4motion is for sale, my build thread can be found here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TURBOCHARGED-VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-V6-4MOTION-BLACK-TURBO-R32-/222193093201? Description from the listing: This vehicle has been built without compromise, using high quality parts and components to withstand its power increase while keeping factory smooth running and reliability. During the conversion, the timing chains were checked for wear using VCDS which showed low readings, well within spec. The chain and guides were visually checked and had very little signs of wear.
  12. My turbo V6 4motion will be up for sale soon, buy that instead. A full kit containing everything will be very expensive and no one seems to offer it. JBS will do a drive in drive out turbo conversion but they charge an astronomical amount.
  13. Hi guys, just posted up my china GD35 turbo on eBay, as you can see from my 4motion turbo build log it's never been used, only used it as a mock up when building my downpipe. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222174206624?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
