A long over due update on the corrado. Finally got around to getting a genuine second hand starter motor which I have refurbished (not yet fitted). I've spent a few ££ on it over the last few weeks acquiring the parts and serviceable items I need.. Started to cracking with it on Saturday gone, made progress of changing the oil for shell helix, a fresh set of denso iridium plugs along with a brand new set of leads.
Oil filter has been changed along with fuel and air filters.. God it needed a bit of tlc.
All the breaks have been broken down and serviced and are to be built back up next week with a new set of rear discs and pads..
Hooked the battery up for the first time and guess what? The spoiler and the sunroof both work effortlessly. Absolutely chuffed with them results..

I certainly did after a bit of bartering etc.. Ended up getting it delivered last weekend.. Here are a few snaps.. Needs paint and a few pipes here and there but it's all going to be stripped down and re built to make it the best it can be...

The only part I thought was slightly amusing was how much oil there was leaking out of it. When they brought it the oil was all up by the side of the head and rocker cover, down the back of the engine etc etc, as ed pointed out. The only thing they changed in the program to cure the oil leak was the oil cooler seals... As this had apparently sprayed oil around the engine bay?? I seriously suspect there was at least another leak higher up somewhere. Good to see a vr6 on the show none the less. Enjoyed.

It's ok I've found the answer to Bealieboy's snoring! The empty square in the middle is the cricket pitch apparently, your tent can go in the middle of that next year!

I'd just like to say a big thank you to all that attended the Leeds VW FESTIVAL. Well done guys. We couldn't of done it without you. Your cars looked amazing. Hope you all enjoyed it.

Lol I didn't manage to, I was away most of the day dragging our lass round the detailing stalls and drooling over transporters and caddys.. did you give him some hammer.. literally the botty basher
