    So as some may be aware, it's not all going as well as it was and now it needs the following: New sump and plug Oil and oil filter Starter motor Relocate horn Bleed engine coolant Fit rear anti roll bar clamp Brackets for brake pipes on front coilovers Bolts for exhaust mani New engine mounts This car is costing me a fortune!!!!

    So I got 177 with just a cold air feed... Since then I've added a fully decatted 2.75inch exhaust, 6 branch manifold and Schimmel 263 cams....

    So today's exploits went as follows.... First point of call, exhaust manifold... Now I wrapped it in heat wrap, I'll never do it again, pain in the backside, also had to split a weld so it would fit: New silicone hoses going on: Coilpack and leads back on: Other bits and bobs added: The one away special "coffee cup" mod: Sachs clutch going in: Gearbox on: Theeeeeeen, engine in place: Then about 2-3hrs of faffing about (because Matt and I were a bit eager to get it started), it finally started (no exhaust connected): https://vimeo.com/117112536 Then we connected pretty much everything

    So here's everything that we/Matt got done today.... Engine out: Gearbox off: Started strip down and draining oil: Ready for cams and chains to come out: Schimmel 263 cams and new chains on: The only thing I haven't done is taken a photo of the engine all put back together... Tomorrows task is putting it back in the car but unfortunately while we were putting everything back on the engine, the crack pipe decided it wanted to die, so I've just ordered a new one but won't be ready to start the car until next week [emoji17]

    So this weekend has been constructive (at last!), my pal Matt spent all day Saturday putting the KW V1s and Eibach anti roll bars on. Then all day today we have bee prepping the engine bay ready to pull the engine out on Saturday, then the fun begins!!! So yeah, my list of things to be done is as follows: Change coilovers (done) Fit front anti roll bar (done) Fit rear anti roll bar (done) Fit central locking (done) Remove engine Fit abs module Strip engine down (done) Remove a/c Fit cams Fit valve stem seals Fit clutch Fit chains Change gearbox oil Fit head gasket Heat wrap manifold Fit m
