    Ok car still not on the road so I spoke to cobra alarms technical division and they have sent me the paperwork which tells you how to sync fobs to all cobra alarms for the past ten years unfortunately for me my alarm was fitted when the car was new and the fobs came pre coded to the car and all the parts for my alarm are now obsolete so I have a guy coming today to remove my old one and fit a new Clifford cat 1system was the only way I can get the car back on the road Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Hi everybody was gonna take the car out for a run today and the fob does not work the key works but I didn't want to open it because the alarm and immobiliser are on so I changed the battery on the fob and it still doesn't work any ideas it's a cobra 5557 I have searched google but nothing comes up it was fitted when the car was new I'm starting to get very annoyed with this car it's one thing after another!     I dont think its electrical because it feela flat in general when it's not misfiring it seems to hold back thats why I thought possible fuel a tyre fitting van killed me thw other day it was embarrassing Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

    Changed the fuel filter still the same does the fuel pump have a seive on it or does anybody else have any ideas ? I checked the maf its ok as is the coolant temp sensor and checked for codes and none came up? All help appreciated as its doin my head in Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

    Ok bit of an update changed the ht leads £25 + vat feom eurocar parts and still no difference now I dont rhing its ignition because it only seem to happen when after revving feom idle or hard acceleration so I think its thw fuel filter ? Will try to get one tomorrow fuel pump doesn't seem noisey though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

    Hi All just an update brought a vr6 a while back now and it was cheap but a bit neglected so i had some work to do after checking it out at work. Found a broken spring and exhaust loose and various bits of trim hanging off also a bad internal water leak so i have been busy and now finally taxed & tested. 1st thing i did was change the coilovers they had jom fitted and were in a bad way a n/s/f broken spring and all set at differant heights resulting in a crap ride and tyres scuffing while i was there i changed the oil didnt have a filter but didnt matter she wasnt going anywere. i managed

    Called tps and got new plugs but the leads were £165 +vat and the guy said he doesn't rate them I have saw a few sets on ebay anybody used them? Standard sets or uprated sets ? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

    Checked my ht leads as I have a misfire around 1200/1500 rpm all leads read about 6.2kohms but autodata recons it should be between 3.6/4.4kohms also checked the plugs and denso k20txr are fitted what plugs and leads do people recommend ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    As title says I know it's probably the most asked question but the current car has cheap nasty Jom coil overs with a NSF broken helper spring I was gonna change to a spring and shock setup as it's cheaper but I don't want the hassle of messing about needing extra parts (using bits of existing setup) so I have spotted a weitec hicon gtn setup for about £410 from euro performance but not sure if it will fit or if they are any good my budget is £500 no more as I need to get it sorted as since I brought it I haven't drove its sitting on my drive sorn Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    The cars gonna be parked up for about 4 weeks while I'm away it really couldn't have come at a worse time but it was very very cheap so I can't complain ( the mrs did tho ) But I need to sort the suspension as soon as I get back I don't like the car being on the deck and being rock hard it just shakes it self to bits so that's why I want springs and shocks plus they are cheaper I have found ap racing sets with a 40mm front and a30 mm rear drop for around 280 but I don't wanna be too high either !

    Got the car on the pit for a once over only got her Sunday refitted all the heat shields no more rattling Found out its got a power flow exhaust fitted poorly clamp missing from centre section (fixed) Really cheap nasty coilovers with a broken spring No oil leaks so dropped the oil So I want rid of the nasty coilovers and was wondering what spring and damper set up to go for any suggestions ???
