    Few tips I have learned Get parts and goodies sent to friends/parents houses and fit them there and hopefully they won't notice If they do, don't tell them the actual price that they cost you Don't complain to your Mrs about how much you spend on fuel In summery just lie about everything you spend on your car and don't let them catch you sat staring and day dreaming about how good your car is looking after you have just given it the full works clean polish and wax because women seem to think that any attention and money that you have to give should be going on them and only them.     My cars insured and sorn at the moment. I think when my policy was renewed last year my car was sorn'd at the time of renewal. I guess it depends on your provider. It's will be worth looking into laid up insurance as I guess it will be cheaper than paying for a normal policy like what I'm doing atm Sent from your mums iPhone using Tapatalk

    I think you will be lucky if you can get mole grips to work, even when clamped down stupidly tight I found the centre kept spinning round. If you know anyone with an air gun or local garage, take the whole struts down and they should whip the nut off with an air gun Sent from your mums iPhone using Tapatalk

    If you can get somewhere with an air gun, that will Deffo get the nut off. See what your battery impacts like when fully charged but if it's like the one I have at work I wouldn't have thought it would spin quick enough compared to air guns Sent from your mums iPhone using Tapatalk

    Upper air intake vents, that's the one, thought I was half way there lol. Vw parts don't have any in at the mo, oemandmore said they was trying to get some in a few months ago but not sure weather they did or not Sent from your mums iPhone using Tapatalk

    I think the 8v's are slightly smaller in diameter, 16v and vr6 should be the same. I wouldn't recommend removing the rear silencer, mine had it removed when I got it and it was one of the first things I changed Sent from your mums iPhone using Tapatalk

    I know gem that runs vwpartsinternational, I'm sure that they can get them done to what spec you want.
