    Ironically I see an rs turbo every day but only because my neighbour is restoring one. Think he is on his third engine lol, never see Nissan pulsars any more. At one point there was loads of them in Kent during the fast an furious days. I know it was terrible but I do miss those days....so many cars had neons the. Cops gave up pulling people over haha

    Ok I'll just go an disturb u now. I've had 2 operations, and both of them where on my nuts....lucky me!! On the upside I have 2 kids so it seems they knew what they where doing!

    Some old cars are still around alot mk3 golfs round here are common although only seen one other vr6 Got me thinking, other cars that where common that u don't see much anymore....an why Granadas use to see loads but I can honestly say I've not seen one for years!! Renault 25/19 dissapeared...may they just rotted I dunno Feel free to think of more

    I have to say total knob for doing it in traffic. If he hit me with my kids in the car i would do very nasty things to him I have seen some street videos in secluded areas on quiet street or even in places like basildon amongst other car enthuisiasts which i would deem "ok". Im no saint either i did some silly things when i was younger but never amongst traffic like that. but thats my 2 cents

    Happy new year all of course Just had a thought the other day as 90% of the time i never break 4k Rpm As a daily driver im either stuck in traffic or just dont feel the need Id say maybe twice a weak i might open it up in 2nd or 3rd an push over 4K Have you or do you ever rev your VR to the limit?

    My mrs has been removed by most of my family for spamming pointless cack on FB. i dont even pay any attention anymore. occasionaly get texts from mates saying "have u seen what ur mrs put on FB" im like nope and couldnt care less

    The VR is going like a rocket with this cold winter air. Sluggishness down the rev range is gone an its like driving a different car Ive felt a small differance in all cars in winter due to cooler intake temps but with the VR the difference is astonishing! If only it drove like this all year round! PS hoping for snow just to see how it copes!

    just thought id put this on here as a referance incase anyone else gets the same problem My rear clusters where doing all sorts of funny things with indicators lighting up with brakes an tail lights flashing with the Indicators Checked the Ground Wire and all seemed fine. took cluster out an cleaned it. no luck anyone eventually narrowed it down The ground Pin on the cluster where the loom plugs in had intermitant continuity. bent the pin a bit an all seems fine now. ultimately will be needing a new cluster though as i cant see anyway to resolder the pin (its encased in plastic at the back)

    I've.had faults on my vr an never had an engine light come on mines 96 I don't think it has one. Just carry a vag com everywhere with u like I do haha

    id do this if it gave me more mid range, is annoying taking the vr to 4k rpm anytime i want to drive it without feeling like a slug bucket

    thanks for all the info guys. Ive been having MOT's at the same place for about 10 years and i use to work on the yard where his garage is so he is a decent bloke but not hooky. He would fail it if he thought it was unroadworthy. I was thinking about trying to get some sort of underseal on it to avoid any further corrosion from mud an salt this winter. As for the MOT i guess ill just have to bite the bullet an see what happens. My mk2 golf sills where always solid as a rock, little dissapointed at the amount of rust im finding on the VR An the audi A4 P reg i had before this had not 1 bit of r

    Despite having no holes in I tried jacking on the sill the other day an started to hear so crunching so it sounds like there pretty bad. I'm going to get these done when I can afford it but I just wanna know is this likely to be a failure, as there arnt actually any holes

    Just a quick post to prove i did clean it Parked up by the London eye the night after. Was supposed to be going to graffitti tunnel but the police closed it Cleaned an waxed sorry bout the pic phone is rubbish in dark

    Ah i was gonna ask about that. ill keep my eye out for one some time. I apolagise for any high blood pressure caused by the state of my car it does get very shiney for show season i promise

    i almost had a guy in a car take me out while pushing my child in a buggy. i had to get between the car and the buggy before he noticed we where there!! its the same on the roads, people dont drive with consideration for others, they drive like they are the only ones on the road! To avoid an accident on todays roads you have to drive like every other person WILL do something moronic at any given chance

    Alot of my time is spent at stable yards and fields so in the winter my car does have a hard life on a positive note i do like the colour of my Front alloys Think i may visit the jetwash tommorow

    Would I be right in saying if ur staying na then don't think engine mods so much as, gearbox good suspension engine mounts etc etc. Id have thought all of this is goin to make a lot more differance that trying to squeeze 20bhp more out of the engine? I would however shell out on a schrick if I had the money just to show off at shows hehe

    i use to do this on my mk2 golf just cos i liked keeping my summers alloys clean an gave them a bit of a refurb alos i had yoko a539s on summer tyres an there where terrible in the snow an ice.
