Hi, I've just bought a second hand Jetex stainless exhaust for my car but it comes with the resonated front pipe (26-2R). Does anyone know how much the non-resonated pipe (26-T2R) would be & where to get it from ? Cheers Baz

Morning, Has anyone got any decent photos of projector, angel eye or any other different style headlights for the mk3 ? I only ask as my VR6 has a set of Hella twin headlights (morette style) that I'm going to sell as I want either standard ones or I may go for some different style ones like Hella Celis (I think that's what they're called anyway) Cheers Baz

Hi, My car's been making a funny dry whining sound that nobody can pin point ! anyway to eliminate it from the enquiry I've decided to replace the exhaust ( could be a loose baffle & what an excuse ! ) So what are the best cat back exhausts out there for a nice, crisp, deep rumble ? Cheers Baz

Just found this post on here & it sound exactly like what's going on with mine. Posting for a friend Just picked up a 97 golf VR6 on saturday, my 1st VW, and it was running fine until this morning. Theres a hum coming from the gearbox side when in gear and on power. Dipping the clutch/coming of the accelerator silences it. Im gonna stop by halfords and pick up a 17mm allen key to check the 'box oil level tonight. Was just wondering if theres anything else i can look for while im under the car, or if anyone knows of other things it could be? This is my daily ride, with no access to others,

Just been out for a drive & think it may have something to do with the gearbox as it's a light metallic sound that quietens or goes completely when you press the clutch, but it also sounds as if it's directly beneath or coming from the rear ???? Baz

Hi, I've just noticed that my engine's making a dry whirring sound that goes up & down with the revs, it's not loud & the oil level's ok, any ideas ?

Hi, My VR6 is completely standard & has 115000 miles on it. I want to make it breath a bit better with a filter & exhaust as it seems to have a bit of a flat spot sometimes, not much but it's there. Is there anywhere in Hampshire or in the South that's good for mapping or tuning VR6's ? Cheers Baz
