*Non VW related* Changed my mates alternator on his mitsubiti Galant (2.0 petrol) - changed it all, belts etc and all was fine - until on the test drive afterwards I noticed that the oil & battery light were flickering on everynow and then. It's only slightly (the lights are like half brightness and it's only for a second or two) It's just really annoying - I put it down to a dodgy earth but can't seem to find any earth's that are broken or anything? Anyone any ideas? It's also only when you let off the accelerator - when accelerating it never happens.

Awesome!! I'd definatley re-locate the battery to boot if i was you - better for weight distribution and more room for your induction kit.
