  2. Hello all So over the last week I bought a donor car n this happened: Then this happened: Going for mot tomorrow then I cant wait to start driving her again. Want to source a air filter, 6 branch mani and do a service on her in the next couple of weeks. Kelvin
  3. Also bought a vento front end but want a oem grill for it n all needs painting, trail fitted the head lights: Sorry its abit all over the show but its from another forum. She is now sat on my drive with no engine etc in her n im waiting to pick up my vr6 donor car next week. Cheers for looking

Went to player last year: Went to america for work n bought myself back some stuff: na front spilter, fog light vents, side markers n moldings, cup holder centre console, rear cup holder centre console, diagnosis cover n rear number plate tub m metal work. Fitted my front spilter n fog vents: Fitted my centre consoles but no pics. Started fitting my side markers plastic welded them into the bumper n fillered them in and did a bad quick paint job just to seal them until I smooth the front plate recess n get painted properly.
  5. Hello all, Got my golf almost two yrs ago now and this is is pulled from another forum so bear with me!! That's her the day I got her. She's a 2.0 8v, it's had loads done, re-con gearbox, clutch, cam belt, water pump, wheel bearing, disc n pads all rounds, the list goes on. So my wheels, the vr6 leather interior were put in her within a hr of owning her: Then over Easter weekend I fitted my air: added orange indicators on the front n side, painted my grill black, but not sure if i like it, i no my gf thinks it looks shit lol! removed the air ride, as the compressor was knackered, n
  6. thanks for the replys sorry for the lack of progress report just havent had time. right after about 3weeks from start to finish and in the snow she is now running, and i am back to using her every day. and all i can say is she is quick. so the spec is: mk3 obd2 vr6 2.8 engine, gearbox, sub frame etc, milltek mk3 vr exhaust system and de-cat, modded to fit mk2, and tail pipe to be made, k&n air filter, 5 stud conversion all round so vr disc front n rear, mk3 clocks and stacks, vr fuel tank n lines. also had: ball joint on pass side, oil, filter, leads, and plugs. bought a oil cooler but did
  7. hello all about four months ago, i was in need of another vw after owning 2 mk3 polo gt's, but wanted something diff, and at the time my gf, now x! had a mk2 gti golf, which was gr8 fun to drive when i was allowed, so started looking for a 3dr gti, and found my jetta, bought her no tax no mot, for £100. this is how she looked: . so picked her up, got her mot'd and taxed and run her around like this for three months: and i loved how she drived, and handled, only thing that annoyed me was the shity rd around my way, and being so low, and the lack of power being as she was only a 1.6 carb. s
