    I thought they charged by the room, I paid £29, admittedly it's a single, but when we go and stay up at my daughters, we stay in the premier in up there for £29 a night and it's a family room. I think it's all down to availability........

    288s and iam not fussed about the looks of the tyre profile 205/50/15's look perfectly ok.....car doesn't look like it's on stilts or anything........ Craggsy, I know it's a personal think comfort or looks........think it depends on the time of year, show time looks, everyday comfort, down the strip performance. The conclusion get all 3 that way all eventualities are done!!!!!!!!

    Depends who's driving!!!!!!!! lol I can see what your getting at, but thats a whole new ball game, they are on slicks to start with unless its wet. Would love to see someone try and shoehorn some of those wheels onto a MK3!!!!!! It even comes down to what you fill your tyres up with as well though...........

    Big debate though isn't it, more alloy, less rubber (silicon) or more rubber less alloy???? you'd think they would equal themselves out in the end though??!!!!

    4 day weeks are cool....thats what I do, just do longer hours and get paid the same money....only works if you are paid hourly though!!!!!!

    I understand that as the tyre gets thinner so the ride comfort suffers, and I'm not worried about what the others are saying, just playing along with everyone else.....It's all a personal choice at the end of the day. Also I think I will end up getting 16's when I can actually afford the ones I want, but I'll keep the 17's as I haven't seen a Mk3 with them on, Neither had HAMMER_VR6 who I got them off. But regards the acceleration bit I'm getting confused, as the overall radius will be the same. Also surely the 17's will offer better handling as there is less tyre profile, so less flex!!??

    Actually I've got what my son chose!!!!!!! I still want summat different, but the wheels I bought are cool enough,I'm sure they'll look good. When I get some tyres on I'll take pics of them on my car so you can all see

    Daft question I'm sure......But they have got parking for day visitor haven't they? Never been there but going next year. Got family living in Telford so gonna try and stay there and drive in on both days....

    There I was thinking 16's were the way to go so was looking for 16's, asked my question and it appeared that it didn't matter so bought 17's and now you say I should have got what I was looking for in the first place!!!!!!!!!! JEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ you guys are hard to please..............
