Its a mk4 in diamond black its got full leather sat nav and sunroof mate in my opinion the best shape it looks like something special I think the mk5 doesn't look much different from a standard golf apart from some jewellery up front lol

Hi all I'm looking at getting an r next week and I've seen on some of the adverts it says coil pack recall was this for all r's or just some,how can I tell if mine needs to have them done and if so would I be able to get them replaced at my local dealer for free just don't want to have to spend out on more straight away I've driven the car and seen the history but no notes on coil packs and it drives faultless

I'm in oxford to chaps I got the mystic blue on oz super t's I've seen a few others to and am up for a meet speak to caddyslammed coz he's a good source for local meets there's one every sunday I think

as the thread suggests guys ive got m3 style rears but i like the look of the smoked ones has anyone done this themselves how hard are they to take apart ive got some light smoke window tint film and wondered if i could use that any help would be great cheers

Quality thanks for the feed back mate you've been a great help I drove my sisters vxr astra today and didn't think it was that much quicker than the vr the power delivery is just different but I reckon a little remap would see a standard vxr worried big grins I thank u :-)

As the title really guys I'm lookin for a chip or remap for my obd2 anyone got any recommendations or experience been looking about but struggling to find anything for it cheers

Cheers for that lukey I'm just a bit worried about why its leaking and where from in the box, it dumped the lot on the drive when the diff went but this isn't as severe has anyone had this before and what did it turn out to be I'm thinking it may be a driveshaft seal would that make it leak ?

Yeah it smells mate there's not loads of it but the box was changed on tuesday I'd have thought it would av got rid of the old oil if there was any by now is there any way to chech the level of oil in the box and top up if need be

I think its gearbox oil its quite clear

Ok so my diff smashed a hole in the gearbox before christmas so I got a box and had it fitted this week now I've just noticed its leaking oil from where it joins on to the engine sorry I don't know the proper name anyone got any ides what this might be its not chucked all the oil out like before when the diff went so I'm hoping its not to serious its really disheartening coz I love the car it just keeps throwing up more problems each month

are your crystal smoked front fogs from venom mate ive got the normal crystal ones they came on the car but its to much chrome for me -
this is a really good example of what can be done with a vr with some thought and planning its a real credit to you mate and has inspired me with a few touches for my own vr

lol i know ive been searching every where for answers so i thought id tap this one up mate plenty say the shift weight wont fit but nobody says if you can change it ! thanks for clearing that up mate im looking forward to getting my car back tomorrow now :-)
