    Thanks, I am looking forward to hopefully meeting some the funky bunch at Ultimate Dubs. Bungy spot on with the brake dust, also got red stuff pads to reduce it. I really cannot be arsed cleaning my wheels weekly lol.

    Caught in a rutt again. I need the body work sorting, anyone got a polished or painted mani for sale? Might sell the Schrick and put the dollar into the body work.

    Just an update, I got some new rims on 16in, decided to sack the Rotiforms as they are two expensive. Didnt think satin black could look so good on a majestic blue MK3, really pleased with the outcome. Next is the polybushes but that will have to wait until the D90's, adaptors and a set of 205/45's are sold. Also the decat is coming off so thats for sale as well.

    Thanks Kev. Interesting, I am thinking of removing the decat! Though the VR sounds awesome with it but the excess smell of fumes is putting me off. Never know I might get 2 mpg etc..lol.

    I am thinking about getting a chip from matt @ c2motorsport. Just convincing myself it's good value and the benefits. What MPG are you getting with your mods?

    Thanks Helen, I am getting 18 around town, 24 mixed, 29ish on the motorway. I rarely take her above 4000rpm. Do u this sounds right? Would a remap improve the efficiently?

    Just out of interest what sort of MPG would u expect with these mods BMC CDA Schrick Mani Decat Magnex Exhaust It's just a ball park figure for around town, mixed roads (a road etc) and motorway?

    Like Calico said or you can get a clarkee jack I think for lower cars (90 quid on amazon) or do what I do and use vw jack at the back to lift the car and then a trolley jack under the front. If you break down as long as your sills are ok you can use the front, but its for an emergency on my VR.

    To be honest lowering my VR made a huge difference, not only in ride quality but also in handling. I would suggest a good kit if you have the budget, I ride on AP coilovers and its excellent for the money.
