    ive never broke the speed limit in my life , but ive been done for no belt a few times, i did explain that i had amnesia once or twice or maybe even three times before but they didnt find it funny and it cost me £35 for 4 cans of stella, i was only going to the shop down the road aswell, before anyone says i should have walked i couldnt i was pis-ed,lol only kidding

    hi mate, check the wiring inside the sub its self its only two wires but if there not on it wont work! worth a try in my opinion, good luck!

    the gti/vr6s have 2 h1 bulbs where as the non gtis just have a h4.

    i was thinking of getting mine done also, sorry for the hijack,mine dont smoke and just hit 60k with milltek cat back and k&n filter, would it make much differance,im not expecting no massive gain just a bit more lively would be nice, i feel cheeky for asking this on someone elses post :S lol

    i was also looking to get some done in white (as you can see by the centre caps,lol) but i decided to get these as they had good tyres and only knocked me £200:) but i still think white look best :S lol

    i just had a good listen to where the noise is coming from and i can hear a slight noise from the bearing on the tensioner when its ticking over but when i rev it it sounds like there is also tappit noise coming from the same side of the engine,does the bearing noise get louder if the car is revved? as the noise is only coming from the driverside of the engine it makes me still think it could just be the tensioner :S as my serpentine belt could do with replacing i just wondered if they are a pain to change because there doesnt look much room down there, any help muchly apprieciated

    the best you can find locally for your budget is my answer, just keep an eye out for bargains in and around your area, it will all mix and match fine as long as its all fitted nice and of course it must be quality stuff
