    I got one!!!!!! Took these pics just before the light went. I'm well chuffed with it! Got it for £1400 in the end. Seems pretty sorted, main things need doing; 1. Tailgate rust under left corner of window - sorting or new hatch if find decent 2nd hand one 2. Rubber belt (not sure what for - timing belt is chain isn't it?!) reckon needs replacing 3. Squeak from a wheel, reckon new brakes rubbing, doesn't sound like wheel bearing 4. Smell of burnt oil but no oil leaks by looks of things - recall reading something about this? Overall its really sorted - and damn fine to drive, oh and it soun

    Fingers crossed I've found the VR6 for me! It's red (did say I didn't want red but can let that go!) local to me, fully loaded, original and in pretty fine fettle Going for a look tomorrow evening and hope to come back being the proud new owner Fingers crossed Andy

    Looking to shortlist some cars to look at. I quite like the Mulberry Highline VR^ but not so sure about the purple interior. Is it really that purple? Some pics I've seen it looks quite bright, others look almost black. Not sure what to make of it! Any ideas/pics welcome or I'll just have to go and see with my own eyes! Cheers Andy

    Hey Rich, good to see you over from MK1 OC I stand corrected on the bloke thing then - looks like we all have good taste (well I gotta buy mine yet!) VR6 brochure arrived from ebay today - automotive porn mag!! lol Guess we're all a bunch of saddos here then? Can't wait to own one - hope to find one to buy weekend after this one. Fingers crossed

    Think I might have VR6 in my blood. Was sorted to buy one this weekend until rang my insurance company this am to find they dont open Saturdays - gutted! Instead I've been listening to VR6;'s on Youtube - am I just a sad bastard?!! Anyway, it's my brothers wedding next weekend, hope the weekend after I'll be owning a VR6, can't wait. Doesn't bode well for getting my mK1 GTI finished though Just thought I'd share that with you! Andy
