  6. Ref: what a steal..... Yeah, apparently he bought a vento with the wheels on. Drove it home and had some wheels ready to go on.. so sold them on Fleabay... where I sniped them Now have to sell the 4 wheels and tyes in the garage as need the space :/
  7. Eurotunnel will be about £90 return, also... havent the prices for the ring gone up alot lately? I went 2 years ago and I think it's almost doubled from around £8 a lap we paid... I would love to go to this.. unfortunately I have a new job starting in Sept and will have to sell the old girl as I'll be getting a company car
  8. Are these rear wheel bearings going or front? I had load noises from the front of mine, turned out both rears were ruined and wobbly... the noise was traveling to the front passenger footwell :/
  9. They were done by spit and polish, paid £132 for them (sniped lol) with two Toyo Proxes on the front (6mm) and Firestones on the back (7mm). I jumped at the chance as I was going to do this to my wheels and it would cost me about £50 a wheel. This way I have a spare set of wheels and anopther 4 tyres as backups I collected them from about 20 miles away from me. Ian
  10. I got from Ebay matey, had been powder coated dark grey metallic and were almost new The BBS caps were better than the originals too Still have the original wheels in the garage with 4 good tyres on. Ian

  16. 97 on a P and 89k miles, which I think aint too shabby
  17. HAHA, so does anyone notice the vibration when driving at speed? Hard to describe and is a sort of grinding noise. If thats what you all seem to get then I will sleep better, I had a feeling it could be driveshaft related, but this is only when the fans are on so can't be.
  18. After fitting a K+N to mine I am going back to the airbox which funnily enough has some holes drilled in it from the last user. The K+N just makes so much bloody noise in my opinion and hurts the kids ears.
  19. . It feels like a whining from the tyres but I am tempted to say the feeling through the steering could be the fans kicking in during the hot weather. I am no mechanic but sounds like I`m driving on marbles when they are going, when the fans stop the feeling and sound seems to go...Am I going mad? lol
