    Right I have already know that I need to copper grease my brakes between the pads and the calipers but I have also noticed that the squeal gets louder when I am turning and I am hearing a slight rubbing noise all the time now. Is this all down to the brakes or is there something else I need to be checking because it is driving me nuts! Cheers!!! Tim

    Hey I have had my VR6 for a few months and I want to get it properly checked over by someone who knows about VR6 engines. Does anyone know a good garage in and around Edinburgh??? Cheers!

    I use cleanyourcar.com mate. It was recommended on the ukmkivs forum and they have a good selection and good service. I use the sonus clay kit and it looks mint afterwards!

    Thats what I was planning to do one of these weekends. They were changed not that long ago and I think that some grease may do the trick!

    Thanks mate, yeah i am going to have a look at the pads at the weekend and check whether they are ok. Its just embarassing when your reversing and it sounds like a pig squealing! Cheers for the info about the abs, the light seems to have gone off now so I will leave it for a while.

    Hey guys Wasnt sure where to put this query. When I got my VR, the original wheel changing kit was missing,ie jack and nut remover. Any idea where I could pick one of these up from? Cheers

    Hi Guys When I reverse my rear brakes seem to be giving of a deep squeal when I am stopping. I also noticed that my ABS light stayed on for some of my trip home today. After I stopped for a while and then started the engine again it wasnt on. Any thoughts? Cheers

    Thanks for getting back to me mate. It is a one piece leather one that is in the car at the minute. I have been having a good look at the car today and there are some other bits that need replacing too. Inside the boot, the side interior panels seem to be missing. Really enjoying driving it!!!! Cheers

    Hi all I picked up my '96 VR6 this morning and its a beast! The only problem is that the original gearstick is loooking very tatty! Could anyone let me know where to go to find a new one? Cheers Tim
