  2. So this is what the mechanic said,as i have oil all over the engin, and its what is leakin all over my driveway! how easy is this to fix? justwanting to know the garage aint goin to try take the piss! thanx guys!

HiGuys,i have done some rearing in here, and although i can find plenty of useful information about sumps n oil pimps, the question im after has not been answered in my research. so here it goes. i need to give the car a service so full change of oil, all the filters n sparks. however,i have also noticed since a while ago thatmy sump gasket is perished, so gettin a new onefrom VW n changin that. but how easy of a job is it to hange the sump gasket? do i just unbold the sump, take old one off, give surfaces a quick clean, place new gasket and bolt back up? just like that? i want to do it when i
