    Just been up to tonys and done mine to. Spot on job everything went well and smooth. Even removed aircon at same time. But take engine and gearbox out makes life so much easier.

    Thats wat im thinking just saw the solid ones the other day but there £160 and say that they can cause serious lift off oversteer so best suited to track use. Polybushes it is then just need to find somewhere to get some wishbones bushes and rear beam bushes. just guna replace the front and rear top mounts with standard i think.

    Few more pics of when i was up tonys last weekend Had my chains and tensioners replaced, new clutch fitted, new engine oil and fillter and new gearbox oil. All my aircon was removed aswell to save some weight and seems as i never use it i thought why not so its all for sale in the for sale sections. Got a few little bits i wana do this weekend like spray my front and rear badges white. Got 2 new wishbones coming which will be sprayed white and fitted with polybushes ready to be fitted with coilovers. Just need to get some polybushes for rear beam or do i go for solid rear beam bushes from

    My mate has been asked to go and work for performance trim just found out tonight. He currently works at gsf so i allways get good discount. He knows the guys down performance trim as he sold them his old corrado and they used it to make carbon fibre roofs and hes just been asked to go work for them so hoping there could be a good discount soon.

    There two phases of gti tho. Think the only diffrence is one has white dials and one has black something silly like that.

    Shame they dont do mk3 bonnets. Will be getting a sunroof blank from them shortly tho.

    Not many options if you want to keep your 15inch rims unless you get braided hoses, new disks, uprated pads etc. Pretty sure there is 1 set of 15inch wheels which fit over 312mm brakes not sure what there called tho. Think tony and craggsy have them.

    Lmfao It does allways get the best drink available. Which is why i got a v power loyalty card. Think ive only ever used v power since ive had it. Just wont let it get low anymore il feed it more often lol

    Think i may have found the problem. Both times this has happened i have been really low on fuel. Now yesterday when it happened i was coming out of a sharp bend and put my foot down in second so im thinking the fuel may have gone to other side of fuel tank and therefore cut out. Does this sound at all possible. Checked battery conections and all were ok. Check earth for alternator and all seemed ok still need to get a voltmeter on battery and alternator. I drove it tonight and put my foot down through bends etc and all was fine.

    Ok il check it tomoz was pretty sure that was how you tested it but cudnt remeber amount of voltage that need to be showing. cheers

    ok il check all this tomorow after work. how can i test the alternator using a volt meter then. I no the battery should show around 12v if healthy on the volt meter

    Aux belt should be fine as it was replaced yesterday. Il check terminals tomorow then. If alternator wasnt kicking out enough power would this cause these problems. il try and borrow an voltage meter of someone this week.

    Just remembered just as engine lost power and just before it turned off i put my foot to the floor again and it sounded like it was missfiring very faint noise. Hard to describe really.

    calico no it wasnt cold i never go above 3k when cold allways let oil get to 70. Yea i no im just wondering if there are any sensors that could cause this.

    Happend bout 3 weeks ago or so but didnt acually turn off. This time it turned it self off. Il take it out tomorow night for a blast and see if it happens again. Really confusing. jst hoping its nothing major or expensive lol.
