  1. Yeh that's what i meant. R32 brakes are IIRC 334mm and require a minimum of 17" wheels therefore 312mm should fit behind 16's. But it does depend on the ET aswell. The fronts on my kerchers (et 20) with standard 288mm brakes have about an 2cm gap between the caliper and the wheel.
  2. I should think so. R32 brakes require a minimum of 17's.
  3. In regards to the alarm i ain't got a clue. HID kit, you want the 6000k which will be the brightest but also with a slight blue tint. 8000k will be noticeably blue and you would also lose actual road light. Im sure, factory fitted xenons are 4500k which also give a bluey tint so 6000k is more than enough.
  4. Nah not to keen on spending around £500 when that could fund my FI plan. Maybe one day though, when my VR is fully sorted.
  5. lmao. you buzz off racing don't you. Why didn't you go nurburgring?
  6. lol. rule number 1 - don't tailgate cars to closely! Your mate must be the minority..and let me guess..is he homosexual.
  7. Lol maybe you need some lessons on how to dodge and weave....WOMEN DRIVERS

    airbox

Instead of creating a new thread i though i'd use a old one. Would a airbox from Corrado VR6 (1993) fit a Golf Mk3 VR6 (1997)? I fitted mine in today and it seemed very tight, but it's been so long since i had a OEM airbox that iv forgotten how it's supposed to sit!
  10. I have never used companies like UPS and DHL ect and have always used the post office (royal mail) to deliver parcels. But i have noticed alot of people use other companies.. who is the cheapest?
  11. nice calm way to put it there.....pop off LOL! any rubbing issues with the 9's? how low have you gone? im thinking of getting it so the sidewall is half visable half hidden in the arch No rubbing issues at all at the moment. but iv got my rear arches grinded and plus im not that low at the back. im going lower soon though. I think i will have some rubbing issues when it's lower as my FK coilies are not that stiff. The guy i bought the wheels off, had his car decked and he only had rubbing issues when he had a full car. But i might go for 215/35 next. But i'd go for 205/40 if i had 8.5J..stre
  12. iv got 205's on 9J. Handling is good enough on daily use, but not a good idea if you going to be racing in the often. Also as Xyber said, they have to be run on high pressure so they don't pop off.
  13. oh yeh that reminds me to...HID conversion. Which ones you going for 6000k or 8000k?
  14. Yeh im going to go for either the grooved or combi don't know which yet. lol you ain't on your own there..im going to spend far to much once iv finished my exams. Just bought Eibach anti-roll bar from ED38. Going to get some strut braces soon. Then doing the chains and clutch. Then hopefully it will be ready for turbo by the end of the year.
  15. Hmm true about the chavvy red calipers....il see. what colour your VR? Yeh did you say you had Black diamond discs for your MK2? how do you rate them?
  16. Won't be far off. Take the E46 M3 for example..343bhp but weighs around 1550kg....against R20T 270bhp weighs around 1270kg. M3 BHP/tonne = 225 R20T BHP/tonne = 216 Not much difference.
  17. yeh same as..i cruise around usually with a few mad moments on the weekend so i think performance pads are the ones. Did you get your calipers painted from the guy? if so..whats the paint finish like?
  18. RHS great wheels..one of the few wheels i'd replace my kerschers with.
  19. probably combination of a few things.
  20. so they are good pads for daily but great when racing! So performace ones would be even better for daily but not as good when racing! So it really depends what you use them for. I might go for the performance ones instead..
  21. You don't waste time do you! done a great job on the VR. Glanza wern't to bad either..rapid little things them!
  22. thanks..here's a review of the DS2500: http://www.acuraworld.com/forums/f46/ferodo-ds2500-brake-pad-review-68907/
