Regarding the bmw thing, Ive just sold my 330 and got a 4motion, Bmw in every department feels better. But then the price difference is obviously the reasoning behind this....

No its not is your answer. Would only take a couple of hours or so for someone with little experience with the engine.

Alternator etc will still be fine. just swap engine harness (wiring from behind coilpack) Mani and tb. Use your maf. thats it. -
Some of this is down to the owners pumping there own money in to start off with and it being a debt on the clubs behalf. Like Roman pumping millions into chelski with no trophies or success behind them at that point. The money has now been earnt. Although i believe there debt free statement Bollo***. And also bad previous decisions by owners.

I dont see people ever moaning about actors fees, some ten million per film. Top top dj earnings, Some of which are 50,000 for a 2 hour set. Its entertaiment at the end of the day. Alot of people are into it so the price people get goes up. What about Bupa, They are saving lives etc, But due to demand make big profit. Plastic surgeons make big money, Some in millions. They where once normal surgeons, And now due to DEMAND make big money. Football is a business as is anything else. Thats a nice speed. But Im sure people with preach and say there say, Seen it before on here a bit so id remove to avoid some comments. On the engine side of things, Could it be the timing is slightly out? Sounds to me like it is. Maybe re time. Heard on here alot of poeple timing up ever so slightly off but having the reverse symptoms your having mate. Although the vrs are a bit lazy below 3000............ If its not much at all maybe that, If not Id say above. -

I have always thought about the r32 and the possibility of putting one into my old mk2. I was thinking is there not a way you can splice the r32 loom into the vr6 loom/ecu and map it? obviously not too simple or as simple as just that, but surely its possible?

Is it new management or a new company all together? the latter would not be good news, but surely if its the first your within your rights.

You will also need a corrado pedal box, with master cylinder and servo. Alot of people say you need a corrado rad, but you can do it with the mk3 one, just cut the fan housing down and make some custom brackets!! Solid front engine mount, or corrado crossmember with corrado mount. The solid ones where on ebay for about £30. Brake bias valve if using the rear vr breaks. I used one that you can adjust yourself. Your donor may have a sufficiant one still on it??

Just seen this post, to put a obd2 engine into a obd1 car all you have to do is swap the engine loom over and intake mani and tb. Unless your obd1 is dizy, in which case put your cam sprockets and set up into the obd2 engine. Not hard to do really!!

Spot on for that mate, I have linked the white wire that come loose to the red going into controller, something i did earlier that only gave me constant vacuum and this time it only cucks when red light is on like it should. so I imagine this live must be triggered somewhere or something. the valve bit on the manifold that yuou can see hgets jammed a bit, i have to put a screw drivier in there to get it moving. dont know if the vacuum is not strong enough or its jammed. will investigate tomo and sort it out. I get to 4000 rpm where all my vrs have been so nice and its still pulling, but feel

I have got a schrick on the vr I have at the moment, was not working properly the other day, then was now playing up. Basically, the solonoid after the vacuum tank befor the mani is not opening to let the ait through. I have checked the wires and one of them has broken off. (white wire going to solonoid). if I try to puty this back where i believe it shoiul go i still get no vacuum, even when the red light comes on control unit. So its basically a case of iether the solonoid or box getting the signal out. When i touch a certain point in the box with the white wire the solonoid opens constantly
